Our chapter first used this at the Louisiana Veterans Honor Medal Awards Luncheon, held on 10 March 2009 at Hoban Hall on Barksdale AFB. The presentation comes from Military Times Publishing Company insert to the 25 Sept 2000 issues of Army/Navy/AF Times. Many people in attendance at the luncheon wanted to see the photos again, so we decided to include it on our website. The luncheon was co-hosted by the Ark-La-Tex Chapter of MOAA and Col Steve dePyssler was the organizer.
Read the story, "Governor, state recognizes Louisiana veterans", about the Louisiana Veterans Honor Medal Awards on the Barksdale AFB website.
Enjoy!
